From the series: Lapses of Silence
Taking as starting point the transition of color and tonality, these series of Oil Painting studies the varieties of possibilities in the interaction between patterns that transform through time in a contemplative process leaving a void where the dividing limits of its elements are lost in linear depths.
In a Repetitive Dialog of chromatic encounters made by the superposition of multiple layers of invisible brushstrokes, these flat surfaces seek “silence” by eliminating the existence of a figure in a particular event. An emotional landscape that take as a reference those tones that belong to the world of spectral colors generated by our mind in absence of light. (Text courtesy of the artist)
