Linh San
Linh San (b. 1998, Vietnam) received a bachelor’s degree in literature from the Hanoi National University of Education in 2020 and has worked as a coordinator for several art spaces and art projects in Hanoi. Spanning poetry, moving image and ceramics, Linh San’s practice depicts the relationship between the poetic and the everyday, contemplating both the simplicity and hardship of contemporary life.
Linh San has organized notable solo exhibitions in Vietnam, including While the soil slumbers, A.Farm Studios at Tree House, HCMC, Vietnam, 2024; and no longer holding a cloud, #SoloMarathon2022, Á Space, Hanoi, Vietnam, 2022. Linh San’s short films has been featured at Hanoi Doclab, Goethe-Institut Hanoi, Hanoi, Vietnam, 2019; Ring Project #1: Metaphor about Islands, Jakarta Biennale 2021, National Museum of Indonesia, Jakarta, Indonesia, 2022. Her poems can be found on local and international platforms, including AJAR Press, Asian American Writer Workshop, Big Read Miami Project 2022, and Poetry Translation Centre. In 2023, Linh San received the Prince Claus Seed Award 2023 as an emerging artist.
