Aditya Novali
Aditya Novali (b. 1978, Indonesia) is a multidisciplinary artist whose background in architecture informs his sensitivity to structure, space, and the mechanics of construction – elements that lie at the heart of his approach and aesthetic. Engaging with themes such as boundaries, identity, materialism, and urban life, Novali’s works often invite interaction and evolve through the viewer’s experience, creating dynamic encounters that blur the line between concept and perception.
Novali received his Bachelor of Engineering in Architecture from Parahyangan Catholic University, Bandung, Indonesia, in 2002; and an IM Master of Conceptual Design from the Design Academy Eindhoven, The Netherlands, in 2008. Novali’s work has been exhibited in numerous galleries and institutions both in Indonesia and internationally.
