Orejarena & Stein
Orejarena & Stein is a multimedia artist duo consisting of Andrea Orejarena (b. 1994, Colombia) and Caleb Stein (b. 1994, UK). Their work uses the intersection of technology, memory, and desire to explore American mythologies and narratives as they grapple with their relationship to the country that has become their adopted home. Often drawn by personal interests and past events, their work also focuses on discussing the culturally specific geopolitical and social aspects of their subjects – be it marginalized narratives, stories of local communities, or the long-term effect of historical events
