Pham Ha Hai
Pham Ha Hai (b. 1974, Vietnam) is a Hanoi-born artist with a rich family tradition in the arts, who began exploring painting from a young age with his brother, renowned artist Pham An Hai. Pham Ha Hai engages in a dialogue between life and cultural consciousness and tries to capture the emotional elements of abstract painting. Passionate about various local art forms, the artist explores sculpture, ceramics, folk music, and costume making, alongside his current exploration of acrylic on canvas.
Pham Ha Hai’s first solo exhibition titled Land & Human focused on painting, sculpture, and installation, and was held at Salon Natasha, Hanoi, Vietnam, 1998.
