DEATH is a journey, the luggage for which is a bag of Karma. Inside the bag are Blessings and Sins, no money, no loved ones, no knowledge. Every day we are packing that bag, sometimes packing Sins, sometimes packing Blessings. Because we do not know when we die, and because we do not know what that journey looks like, a lot of people believe that tradition is right, that there are ‘correct’ ways to remember someone … so we fuss over the preparations for our death. Anyway, the act of packing is a personal one, no one can really help us. Only we know what’s inside our own luggage. How we live is also how we prepare to go.
