Regis Golay
Regis Golay (b.1978, Switzerland) is a photographer who work traverses the boundary of contemporary art and visual communication. He describes his practice as “subversive yet intelligible” and “poetic but radical”. After graduating in 2003 in Visual Communication, with a specialization in Photography, from the ECAL in Lausanne, he went on to found Studio Federal in 2005. Personal projects and commissioned works both inform a practice that uses a range of mediums, including photography, video and large-scale outdoor installation, to capture some of the minor disturbances and absurdities of human life in its modern environment.
